The 1925–26 season was the 36th season of competitive football in Scotland.
Champions: CelticRelegated: Raith Rovers, Clydebank
Promoted: Dunfermline Athletic, ClydeRelegated: Bathgate, Broxburn United
Promoted: Forfar Athletic
Several teams were unable to complete their fixtures due to financial difficulties. The championship was never awarded. As a result, Division Three would be scrapped next season. Most clubs in the division (those marked above in pink) have not since made a return to the league.
St. Mirren were winners of the Scottish Cup after a 2–0 final win over Division One champions Celtic.
Scotland were winners of the 1926 British Home Championship.
